The purpose of the Uniform Code of Student Conduct is to establish a standard of conduct for Union Elementary School District, which will provide the best possible educational climate for the students, faculty, staff, and general public; encourage participation in the educational process by the general public, assure the safety of the students and staff; protect school district property; and, honor and protect the rights of all individuals within the school community.

We expect every person on the property of the Union Elementary School District to conduct him/herself in a manner that is consistent with the vision, goals, and beliefs
of the District.

This vision, as stated on the Home page of this Web site, is that we believe it is important to "maintain high standards in  a challenging and suppportive learning environment."  This requires teachers, administrators, students, and parents to work together with respect and with an eye single to that goal.
